GPA SEMINARS

This seminar will cover fundamental aspects of intellectual property licensing, with a focus on technology licensing. It will cover the uses of licenses, the formation of license agreements, sublicensing, license grant provisions, confidentiality, royalties, warranties and indemnities, and limitations of liability, among other topics. The focus will be on drafting concerns as well as substantive concerns. Students will engage in weekly discussions of license transactions and issues, drafting exercises, as well as a final project.
