Description
This course focuses on imparting highly practical data privacy knowledge, exploring current legislative trends, and equipping students with skills that are required when analyzing or implementing corporate privacy programs. The course will cover domestic and international privacy laws, their respective foundations, and their practical relevance. Interactive elements will ensure that students learn how to approach a broad variety of data protection and data privacy issues in-house privacy professionals would commonly encounter. This course will cover privacy concepts and topics that are relevant for common privacy certifications such as CIPP/US. However, the course will not cover in depth the fields of data privacy litigation or contractual agreements.
